Brief introduction of mechanical descaling technology of plate heat exchanger
Chemical cleaning technology is a widely used method. Sometimes when the plate heat exchanger is
running, it can also be cleaned. However, its main disadvantage is that the chemical cleaning liquid is unstable and corrodes the heat exchanger and the connecting pipe. Mechanical cleaning technology is usually used to remove the dirt on the shell side. First, take out the tube bundle, immerse it in different liquids to make the dirt soft and loose, and then remove the dirt layer mechanically.
1) Use abrasive particles to add solid particles to the fluid to rub the surface of the heat exchanger to remove dirt, but it is easy to cause corrosion on the surface of the heat exchanger.
2) The sponge rubber ball continuous descaling is mainly used for removing dirt on the cooling water side in the condenser of the power station. The sponge rubber ball is circulated by the pump in the heat exchanger tube. The rubber ball is slightly larger than the diameter of the tube. The ball slightly presses against the wall of the tube, erasing deposits during the movement.
3) The automatic brushing heat exchanger pipe brushing facility consists of 2 outer covers and 1 nylon brush. The outer covers are installed at both ends of each tube. Changing the direction of the water flow allows the brushes to be pushed forward and backward along the pipe. Reversing the water flow allows the brushes to be pushed forward along the pipeline. Water reversing is driven by compressed air and controlled by a four-way valve connected to the pipeline at regular intervals.
